BOILERMAKERS - MT ISA - Job Code: L03037
Our North Queensland based Client is desperately seeking multiple trade qualified Boilermakers to start work immediately! Successful applicants must be experienced in MIG welding and be able to read drawings. You will be required to work in a multi franchise dealership and full service backup to the mining industry. Exp with MIG welding and light fabrication of vehicle tray and truck bodies for the retail industry an advantage. Attention to detail and ability to work neatly and within a defined process is essential. These roles are for an initial 2-3 month contract basis. ELECTRICAL DESIGN DRAFTER - Job Code: L03038
Our client is a global leader within the international mining sector and is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Design Drafter to join a major North Queensland based project. Successful applicants require demonstrated Australian experience in Electrical Design Drafting and must be proficient in the use of Microstation. This roles major objectives are the provision of detailed drawings and the identification of technical specification issues that require rectification. Experience in either the mining, civil and/or heavy industry sectors will be highly regarded. Contract initially for 3 months on a 4 weeks on and 1 week off roster. PROJECT ENGINEER - Job Code: L03039
Our client is a global leader in the international mining sector. We currently have multiple positions that have surfaced with a global supplier of bauxite, alumina and primary aluminium. This business maintains large, long life, cost effective operations that deliver high quality products. Your position will be to work as part of the project engineering team with a key role to deliver expertise in the civil works sector. To be successful you will be a qualified engineer that will exercise a strong knowledge in the civil sector. You will have 5 to 7 years of project and design experience. You will be completely competent in writing site reports and general verbal reporting. You will be required to show leadership skills and be able to work as part of a team. A mining background is an advantage but not essential. This opportunity is initially a 3 or 6 month contract position with the opportunity to work with our client on an ongoing basis. There is a generous hourly rate and ample hours on offer. The positions are situated in northern Queensland with a fly in and fly out arrangement. All food, flights and accommodation will be provided by our client.

SENIOR ENGINEER MINE - Job Code: L03040
Our Client is seeking a Senior Mine Planning Engineer for an operation which has just commenced a significant pit extension project. You will be required to conduct short and medium term planning and scheduling and blast design. You will report directly to the Mining Manager and enjoy the feeling of having a fully staffed Technical Services team which means you won't have to carry out production based engineering responsibilities. This position is a great option for someone looking to move into a management role with career advancement opportunities available in the short term. Successful candidates will possess a Bachelor of Engineering (Mining) and 5 or more years experience in Open Pit Mining Engineering and proficiency using Minemax and Vulcan software.
